Skill: Ties

Is there a way to add notes together? Yes, there is. A curved line, called a "tie", between notes of the same pitch, simply extends the note for the duration of both of the printed notes. For example, a quarter note tied to another quarter note would make it the equivalent of a half note. A half note tied to a quarter note would be 3 beats long in common time. The tied note is not sung again, it's just continued.
